After Death Nothing Can Be Done

A distant relative of mine passed away yesterday. Although it was not my duty still I feel had I kept her with me and served her in her end days, she would have been happy. I feel guilty.
__________________________________________________________________________________________

All those around you,
Neighborhood people, friends 
Your near and dear ones

Treat them with respect
Talk nicely, be polite, never fight
Accept all as they are, adjust
Even if others are bad to you, be good
Do your duty to the best of ability
Never do tit for tat
Try not to sin
Be helpful

If you follow the above
You will have a clear conscience, peaceful, calm mind
You will feel good about yourself

Death can come to anybody, any moment
If that happens to someone known to you

You will have no guilt in mind
You will feel I was good
I did my duties to the best of my abilities
You will live a life of no regrets

Otherwise regret is lifelong...

Before death all good can be done
AFTER DEATH NOTHING CAN BE DONE!!

In my country, we hardly know our neighbors so unless we become friends with a few of them, we won't even hear they are suffering.
