After All

After all is said and done
when time has come - time has gone
in an instant you will see
what's been hidden from you and me.

When the great light shines
and there's no more time
the truths of the ages will be revealed
that things we assumed were not real.

Today we believe that knowledge is king
but as time will show, it's not what we know
and as a matter of fact, the more you know
the less you  will see what was hidden from you and me.

Knowledge of man seems so great
and many gather to celebrate
but in truth - the more you know
the greater the chances you will be tricked

Deception lies on every hand
nothing is as it seems
but eternal life and glory for us
is hidden now in the word.
