After All

After all these years 
filled with wet tears 
i still think of you 

After all I had tried to forget 
after all i had tried 
i still remember you 

you were the girl i always loved 
you were my story and my friend 
i loved you 
even when you turned away in the end 

i tried to forget but know i could not 
i couldn't forget 
i was in love 

am i now after all these years 
still in love with a fairytale failure 
i couldn't move on though i traveled the road 
the roads these years have been long 

So here I stand and here I fall 
still in love after all
