After a While

I sought solitude in the loneliness I built
Dancing alone in dark rooms holding on
too shadowy existence
Strumming soft melodies for the dreary heart
that lingers on side lines
I danced with the devil feeling the lull
of darkness
I embraced all that it had to offer
I danced alone with silhouettes of a damaged soul
