After

After

as blanched I lay
chambers emptied,
pump drained
sinew reduced to
flaccid residue,

am I soul?

Your rich vocabulary, and your way of extracting so much with so few words amazes me. I noticed your assonance... 'lay...chambers...drained' and 'sinew reduced...residue,' which adds so much! :)
