Africans Are Women
Great Kingdom,who shakes despair
To barter to whites in pair for gold
Where cane were served to serve as food for he who tries to steal farmer's cane of sugar
Where black push at horses presence
Where black tills at tractor's abundance
Where sand top menu for menu for years
Lips sores as metal clipped bore weight Freedom lost,right buried; Shame served
Perseverance made the word of years;
A watchword glued to mouth
Endured sufferings for wards in womb Yay,they won,an emergence.
Patient,courageous,strong and Victor
How Strong is Africa?
Its length an unmeasurable one .
House holder,secret Keeper
Home maker,Home teacher
Best Partners,Life savers;
Of all to women,
Who like Africa faces despairs,
Nine months,no peace, Grown kids,more heat,
Like Africa,they were present,saw and won .
Oh Women,Africa art thou
Oh Africa,Women is you
Vast,Strong,Courageous
Your prowess;second to none
Oh Africa,Women art thou
