African Volcanic Eruptions
The African crust is weak, sitting on boiling magma;
fault-lines cobweb all directions of African land mass.
Volcanoes frequently erupt, get landscapes destroyed
Every moment the continent is awash with loveless lava
But these are not physiological phenomena of natural events
They are not events of rock formation activities
But are volcanoes bursting from loveless human hearts;
hearts full of boiling volcanoes of vengeance and animosity
When the volcanoes burst and the landscapes are shuttered,
lucky creatures embrace themselves in artificial craters,
that artificially emerges in secret places around the continent.
The unlucky face infinite pains of sharp arrows of flying rocks
Creatures with wings to fly and legs to gallop from danger,
re-locate without invitation to the land of civilization,
searching for security without safety; live life without identity,
till the Lord tells them,’ Go back, no more volcanic eruptions”
