Afraid

If you want the truth
I'm still afraid
Although it seems
As if we've got it made
Do you know how easily
You could break my heart?
One harsh word from you
And I fall apart
Yet I've been so cruel
Trying to push you away
I thank my lucky stars
That you decided to stay
I'm sorry for how mean I've bee
And for making you cry
The last thing I want is
For our love to die
I'd take it all back
If only I could
I never meant to be mean
To a man who's so good
I am simply terrified
That your love will slip away
I don't want to be hurt again
No matter what I say
