Afraid

I'm so afraid, scared
to fall deep, or deeper
into something I wont get out of
something I can't get out of
And I push away in subtle ways
I'll run to others for reassurance
trying to convince myself 
it doesnt matter
you dont matter
or that WE dont matter
...(but you know it does)
I'm so afraid to fall,
Or afraid that you wont fall back
All I want
is to be with you
All I want is you
But I'm too afraid
...I can't

Chris Super December 2, 2008 at 4:25 PM This showed a definite longing for love, almost like a crush. Feeling trapped and helpless in your current situation. Since I am in that position right now this poem really just spoke to me. I loved it.
