I wish I could hate you. I wish I still didn’t care about you. I wish I still wasn’t angry or hurt when it comes to you. I wish it didn’t hurt when you ignored me. I wish it didn’t hurt when you didn’t believe me. I wish it didn’t hurt when you chose to believe her over me. I wish it didn’t hurt when it felt like you chose her over me. I wish it didn’t hurt when I found out you spent the night with her too. I wish it didn’t hurt that my pain or feelings meant nothing to you. I wish I didn’t miss you everyday. More importantly I wish I didn’t give you the power to hurt me this way. I wish I could be like you, turn off my feelings, not care, and walk away.
