Affection

my affection my feelings reflections through touch and gentile caress a love so much children love their mothers this way and the way we pet our cats begging at our ankles with an affectionate attach of love in the animal way a look where we never misuse our eyes much more a passion than reaction affection never lies it's in the hand's gentile grip in the eye's silent lips it is a beast touching another beast a soul bathed in another soul a covetousness of the flesh affection never lies if found alone it cries but often times it identifies the one who is the one affection is the rarest of gifts so often time has stolen it or some unforgivable deed but none the less we shall never grow short of it's need

Affection can be the most powerful touch, it only depends on the level of love we are in. it can be a touch wanted, yet so far away, and when it's finally there, it's like a wild wave of emotions. you did well on the sensation of affection.lovely write, John. -Always&Forever Lynette

Reading your poetry this morning, John iii has been a wonderful way to start the day. Touching is so important to human existence. Hugs when greeting, handshakes, and even petting animals all help our humanness give and receive...and there is the gentle holding when truly loved. Thank you for sharing your words. (And thank you for your comments on my poetry as well.) Have a super Day! Lovingly, Dane Ann

Great love write. Well, you know with a name like Loving one would expect a person who has affection, right. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for the bored comment on my "Bowling Competition" which was about a morning storm . Sara

Lovely sentiments, John. Is it for that new contest about what touches your soul? It seemed to be in the vein of what that contest was asking for. Glad I saw this before going to my exercise class tonight. LUv,Andrea
