Affair 2

The early morning arrived and a new day began
Each thought began and ended with him
He clung like fruit clings to the vine
Forever sweet and gentle on her mind.

Life would never be the same for her again
One look and she was doomed to despair
His long hair, his blue eyes haunted her dreams
Without him she would not be sane

We talked of nothing and everything
Words poured as easily as water pours from a spout
Each word more beautiful than the one before
He speaks in soft lyrical tones that soothes this heart.

This ways heavily on my conscience
For I have no right to sit here with him
But it pleases me just to watch him move
For he makes me feel like no one can.
