Advice To Single Fellows

Advice to Single Fellows

By Elton Camp

Husbands know expressions to watch out
For single guys, here’s what they’re about

The wife’s use of “fine” you better abhor
She thinks she’s right so you say no more

Ask “What’s wrong,” & “Nothing” is the reply
Then plenty is wrong & you better learn why

When to your plan, she states, “Go ahead,”
She doesn’t mean it & you’ve lots to dread

If “Whatever” from a wife’s mouth does call
It says that into error you are about to fall

Be especially wary if she says, “That’s okay”
For displeasing her, you are going to pay

LOL, it's based on being married to the same woman for 40 years. I hope no reader takes it as being sexist--it's meant only in fun. But a thing is humorous only if it contains substantial truth. Elton
