The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Adventure With Coffee

Reading the words
of fellow poets so dear
Eyes fixed on the screen
as my cup, I kept near
Not paying attention
to things all around
I picked up my coffee
and gulped it down
In that very instant
my eyes grew big
Chills overcame me
while dancing a jig
I hopped on my left foot
then the right
Started fanning my face
with my eyes shut tight
I lost my footing
and slipped on the rug
All of this......
cause I swallowed a bug!
