Adulthood
Life will be changed
Will be different
Something in me
Can see the difference
A new life
A new me
A new understanding
I want to break free
Of the clutter
That has a hold on me
You, him, her, this
Motherhood
Womanhood
Partnership
Life sometimes
Floods me with responsibilities
With pain
With feelings
Feelings, I don’t want to feel.
Please help me escape,
What I call,
ADULTHOOD!!!!
