Down they sing and praise like an unwanted sect
Up he flaunts with the magical staff to select
Laughing unwillingly to jokes so erect
Admiration, so weak to marvel an insect
Time for instant rewards and more people connect
Interest so personal, is the way to affect
Open mouths full of flattery makes the scene perfect
Nothing matters than being a part of the elect

We strive to fit in; it's in all of us to be in the company of like minds. Is it really worth it or is it better to just be ourselves? Unique individuals who each bring something new to this world? Interesting and well penned.

I think it is better to just be ourselves... What will be will be. We should only strive to be better than where we currently are. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment as always..
