Adrenalin Rush

Adrenalin Rush

Knot in the gut mouth parched and dry
Two thousand feet no wings but I’ll fly
Thoughts racing now shall I dare
One leap of faith I’m on pockets of air

I’m floating freedom assured?
Aye but don’t forget pull the cord
Steadfastly down I’m still a learner
Before I knew it, touchdown terra firma

Do it again up in the blue?
That depends will you come too
Come on take a chance on me
Board the plane and I’ll set you free

Decide quickly develop a crush
After all its not about me it’s the rush
Our tandem jump one giant leap
Your urgent prayer our souls to keep

Then you scream a blood curdling sound
Too late I think we’re on our way down
Do it again ? you insist we must
Inevitable, it’s the rush man the rush
