Adorn the Night

My love, I call you opaline;
you dazzle like a jewel,
extending passion’s brilliant hues,
when chill of night seems cruel.

My iridescent evening star,
adorning canvas sky,
I know your fiery radiance
and ache to feel you nigh.

I love the words "ache to feel you nigh". Rhonda I love saying this one out loud. It more than speaks it sings to me.
