It's almost time for that grand old game
DiMaggio, Mantle, Robinson, some names
To bring back joy
When I was a boy
Adoration for these heroes is still aflame

Jack the bigger they are the harder they fall and that includes Bob Feller. At the same time, people just want to be themselves no matter their career position. We laughed all night long, he had a good time and I was Public Relations so it was just another day in the art of bull schitt but with excellent banquet food. Happy Baseball Season To You and Yours..love ya 'still'....

Jack I'm not an 'in the know' baseball fan but have you ever heard of Bob Feller? I once did a benefit with him and I didn't know whothehell he was and cared even less but everyone was falling all over themselves as he walked up to speak to them one on one ...hmmmm anyway that's my extent of baseball 'glory'....LOL

Someone said they saw Jackie really up close...when on the bases, kept em all on their toes...a hero to many...naysayers aplenty....those memories run fast as my days now run slow
