Adieu Not Goodbye

Why do I grieve a poet without a loss

Did the muse run dry along with the ink,

But to lose this inspiration will cost

literary work will suffer without this link,

how do I fill that lonely empty space

Where we would find those words of wisdom,

blaming myself for being in this bad place

Feeling like a king without a kingdom,

I know I'm not all alone among friends

People with amazing talent,

Knowing that a poets work never ends

The addiction to write will never relent,

So for this lost poet I may weep and cry,

I will always remember it's not goodbye.
