Adieu

Maria Far from the prodding eyes of men and angels she toils… with the strength of mere men, amidst battalions of soldiers she bears the world… And then, her shoulders falling… yet she stood, dying to all the flickering embers of her own dreams Beaten… Battered… And broken… she veils her scars, commanding joys with her smiles bleeding… as stars losing the shine from her own eyes, Yet sparkling colored red by the heat of stale tears Beaten… Battered… And broken… with punches thrown at the casket…. still she veils the ache with a last beauty smiling… Maria Mother of earth Pour out those jars of burdened tears into our empty pots of earth Maria queen of all that is born by love break these iron walls of silence… Is this the last smile from a wooden casket? Speak Maria... A deafening silence Death hovers in the belly of your silent pain dreams are dying! Maria Speak… Life is wilting ! Speak Maria… this silence is loud Salvation from terrestrial fantasy adieu
