Adept

I am adept at many things
My world revolves, nay sings
Multitasking, juggling work and home
Aye I am a woman lo and behold
Not superwoman, not underestimated
For I am almost always understated

With a bounce in my step and a smile on my lips
I play with my kids as I balance their meals
Office and home are both my forte
For I cannot do just naught

Simplistic and altruistic
Not a sought after mystic
My life and my dreams
Just bursts at its seams!

I am woman, nothing is impossible
I speak for one, yet I speak for all
Sauntering with me is just not fun
I run to and fro, until my day is done

Each night when I lay down to sleep
I pray for the Almighty my strength to keep
For I am woman, soft and gentle
With a heart of gold, and oh so sentimental

I am adept at many things
My world revolves, nay sings

LOL ... except when I'm being loud and obnoxious which I have a tendency to get away with at 66 years of age ... it has its advantages ... smile Another thought provoking write from you, Fathima ... thank you for this one!
