There's something going on around here, something special. Something's being tossed in the bowl- (sort of speak). Something that to my likes, tastes and smells as good as any cheery pie, apple strudel, or creme filled pastry. I suppose it's in the air, or, in the soup, if I may say. I sense a great deal of trust, honor and friendship. I trust my gut and soul, for it is soothed and full of warmth. I get the feeling that it is not only I that feels this way. Let us continue to reap the rewards together for in which this community so much has to offer. But it is the "love" that embraces my heart every time I read a comment, poem, or story written by my fellow poets and poetesses. Yes indeed, there's something going on around here. Something that's addicting...and I'm addicted! I promise- to be just another ingredient that adds a little taste to this already very flavorful mixture of sweetness and seasonings from around the globe. Do you think the rain will hurt the rhubarb? "Not if it's in cans" my dad used to say". So, I will continue to add my rhubarb- can or not. I hope it appeases you all... Sincerely, PS member

Encouraging. What are your thoughts on children over there at present? Is poetry worth the addiction?

I am deeply saddened as any NORMAL human being would be. Being a lover of children, it hurts to see any child going through pain, hurt, sorrow and sadness. That also goes for everyday ordinary people as well. Poetry is a medicine and although it's not taken by pill or needle it surely gets injected into one's soul. It can put a temporary fix and time of warmth to the unfortunate Barers of hurt. Look what's its done here, just by you commenting me on my poetry, shows me that there's another caring person in this world who shows me love and compassion for children...and that's a beautiful thing my very dear and talented poetess friend, Lady L. Thanks for stopping by...nice to see you! Hugs Charlie

both camps...and in the world at large. As a poet, of course.

Awww! Your truly thoughtful and graceful words dedicated to your fellow poets is such a beauty to see. The words you weave flows through heaven and earth, in such kind and encouraging loveliness..so selflessly—taking the backseat (as am I—in the back seat hehe) supporting and encouraging, spreading your light and beautiful shine! Your readers can truly see where your heart lays and it’s a lovely sight to see! You yourself are a truly amazing and artful writer and it’s a pleasure to follow you!

If this isn't the sweetest, what is? Thank you so much for your lovely comments, FSS. I am truly humbled. You just moved to the front seat in my eyes, dear friend. It is also a pleasure to follow and to feel your heart within your poetry! Thanks again and welcome to the Soup! Hugs Charlie

very descriptive, Charles. I only had rhubarb once in my life...in London when I was only 18....I actually liked the rhubarb pudding. Nicely done, Sara
