Addiction

Loving him was an addiction
Just a taste could send you
S
  P
    I
     R
       A
         L
            I
             N
               G.....
You're in too deep
You're suffocating

Your lips were like poison
Your eyes could hypnotize
Your touch was my drug of choice
I craved to be wrapped up in your lies

It takes what feels like a lifetime
To put yourself back together
Yet only takes a split second
To relapse into what would feel like forever

Yes, some people are like meth, numbing our senses to the pain they're capable of providing, lost in their sweet glow of ecstacy. Always a fun ride, but ride always ends. Great write.
