A door slams
Living room tells a TV story
Bookshelf storage dust
Kitchen fast food noise
Lounge silence
Doorbell interruptions
Dog barks
Child screams
Phone vibrates
Trees whistle
Blackbird chirps
Cat sneaks off
Neighbour hoots horn
A car breaks the lull
Moon light shows a face
A cheeky smoke
A midnight snack
Curfew ends
Front door clicks
It clicks again
And again
Whispers
Brushes
Night
Snores
Morning
