Addiction

The lies that the drug makes you feel The crazy enviorment that brings an appeal The sleepless nights the horrible shakes All the promises you made That you new you would break Alone and anxious for the next fix or A drink.... Most people don't choose to become addicts. They use they're way in and then, even if they want to, they can't get out without help. Been there, done that and thanks to the Spirit of the Universe I don't live that way anymore ... congratulations Amanda on your writing finding a place in Michael's contest.
