Addiction

You were there when no one understood
Little did I know, you were up to no good
For the first time I was actually cool..and carefree
All the while you had a plan for me
Things were great..I had lots of new friends
I would later realize out this was the fork in the road…
My journey on a road I chose
You were always with me...you never left..
When the party was over...when all my friends were gone
You were still there..but I felt so alone
I had nothing or no one because you would not go away
You said I'm the one who wanted it this way
You said you could not leave if you wanted to
That you didn't choose me...I chose you
