Addiction

You're an addiction.
A drug I can't quit.
An illusion of memories.
A bottomless pit.

Sweet taste of desire.
Innocent look into your eyes.
Longing to hold you.
Hopelessly mesmerized.

You lit a fire in my soul.
Down deep within you turned me on.
Burning embers still remain.
Even though I know it's wrong.

You reached inside and stole my heart.
Youve got me crashing to the ground.
A bad addiction is what you are.
But I can't seem to put you down.
