Addiction
I'm addicted to you and there's nothing I can do
No matter how hard I try to leave
I end up coming back to you
You've been there through my struggles
You've been there through the pain
I never knew my father
And my mother was far away
No one knows what I've been through
No one knows my story
But whenever I got tangled up
You're the one that kept me company
When I need you the most you do what's best for me
But when morning comes all my problems submerge me
You're like a virus that's planted deep inside my brain
I try to pull it out but it only aggravates the pain
I look you in the eyes I keep begging you to leave
You look right back at me and say laissez-moi tranquille
The more I try to let you go the harder it becomes
I regret the day I picked you up
You stupid bottle or rum
