Added Value

what good is my works,
one man with little effect
what good is my status
if only to be the elect,
what good is my purpose
if only is self served.
if little I am worth
then little I deserve,
but if little posessed
can make my heart content
then I gladly posess it
and recieve it with consent.
For whatever can humble me,
I dare say makes me strong
so I'll master living without,
so that without I could live long
and not be foolish
to determine
value by what
surrounds me
for if all is temporary
even wealth should not astound me.
