Action

Action taken to a screen to captivate A dinner date with old school scenes of a drive in Black and white as they write the script that will depict The images of the words spoken to create the action An action that begins with a start, middle and end Story line scripture learned and then read To act accordingly to be directed as such An actor or actress emotionally stuck Director that shouts loudly or screams To be give more emotional delivery Diligently processing the written play by play Thoroughly diving into characters that speak more than words Action that is taken to break character and roles Never acting out unless directed or told This act, that act, to watch an act on screen Not always pictured the filming of behind the scenes Cut to the finish line that is not written yet A story in the movies that could send the right messages Unmasked the vision that a producer may see Then ask yourself, " Is this movie even entertaining?"

Yes that is the question we should ask. Too much cgi will ruin a movie. This is a wonderful poem that moves with the movie in my mind. Thank you for that. Were you inspired to write this by watching a bad movie?

I actually wrote this for a contest on allpoetry.com for the prompt 'The Movies' playing with the way filming used to be done and having fun with how I always love to critique. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment James. Have a great night!
