Act of Kindness

Warmth pushes the cold and I feel   
the glistens of a gentle blue   
wondering and wandering   
as it breathes on through 

a simple touch of heart   
setting the world apart   
  
boots hang off the cardboard   
the same but of a different kind   
thoughtless they walk on by   
lost just another mind   
  
caressing, the steam rises   
soft eye surprises   
care, lost worries in the fear   
for a second, fleeting   
clouds unseating thrones   
taking a thankful tone   
  
kindness breeding kindness   
love living, endearing souls   
promises meant   
words need no mention   
we know   
melting with thoughts of home   
we know   
simply we just know
