Act of God

Armageddon at hand with a shake of the earth,
as walls of water swallow all that lives within the
darkness of this massive killing machine,
with the might to slaughter
 humanity.

Death clouds cascade down slopes,
devastating the population of life, as this
monster envelops all in its path, spewing the
blood of this planet, as hell
reaches the surface.

The finger of God touching flat desolate
soils, concealed in skies of an eerie shade of
black, that destroys everything and
anything this finger of death
 touches within this deadly
act of God.

A cluster of clouds feed by the warm
waters of the cancers, with a clock wise
motion, that gives birth to a one eyed
beast, as it devours and consumes small
islands left vulnerable to the
seas around them.

An old man with violent artic breath,
 blowing unrelentlessly over the land,
causing life to stand still in time.

The freeze kills all stranded in this
sub-zero environment, as vitality in
one is suppressed and suffocated,
with that eternal light
of life fading to black.

A un forgiving world bequeathed upon
man, with the tools of knowledge to
battle and survive this endless war
with the all-powerful
forces of nature.
