Across Town

She went across town to get away
I found out in the morning where you stayed
I can feel the pain coming so please don't lie
Where did you sleep was there someone by your side
That night you were away I died inside
So only in the truth I will confide
Here comes the pain you delivered
All last night I shook and shivered
Still I'm down on my knee's to be with her
Here comes the pain you delivered
Feeling hurt and down
Broken trust has me on the ground
I'll take some blame but feel I didn't deserve all the pain
You toe'd the line and I nearly lost how I feel inside
About a girl that went and hurt my pride
You said you loved me always and forever
You toyed with that on your last endeavor
here comes the pain you delivered
All last night I shook and shivered
Still I'm down on my knee's to be with her
Here comes the pain you delivered
