Across Sands

Patiently I wait
Knowing what's in store
Anticipation great
Soon he'll knock at my door
The door to my heart
will open wide
We'll have a fresh start
I'll invite him inside
We'll walk hand in hand
Through this journey called life
across mountains, across sands
No more fear, no more strife
Together at last
though the journeys been long
No regrets from the past
for this is where we belong
