Across Oceans

My soul would soar
across oceans
to friends in distress,
hoping to bring comfort,
whispering words of love.

You said more in five lines than I could in a much longer poem. Catie's going to love this one too, Jack. I wonder if she knows what a great friend you are to other Soupers. I'll be waiting for your soul to arrive tonight! Best wishes in the contest, dear. Love, Carolyn
