Across From the Moon

someone once said
everyone falls gracefully
i suppose you think
i didn't really mean it
sometimes i wonder
when it's all said and done
if we'll actually make it

cause right now i'm bleeding like a stolen sunrise
yea i'm on the eve of another fading summer

i know it seems unfair
but i'm not ready to leave you
i miss you already
and you're not even gone
i guess in reality
there's no better place to be alone
then to be home

I'm chasing another saturday evening
Cause right now i'm bleeding like a stolen sunrise
and even when i fall asleep
i can't close my eyes

who in the world
would take another mans
freedom to be
wishes come true
yet they fade with in you
no one really knows
what it means to truly
see the relevance

yea, you're bleeding like you really meant it
and i'm singing like i stole another sunrise
drifting awake, i just can't fall asleep
I'm too afraid to close my eye lids

"my dear sunday morning
I"m chasing you in all the spaces i'm not supposed to be"
