Acquire

drifting in a zestless world of hypocrisy,
aching to dispel the lunacy
echoing with distorted imageries,
held in a bastille of utter carnage;
I’m abundantly devoted to
breaking free from what enslaves me.

acquire

wading through the necrotizing tenor
that binds me,
steadfastly drawing near, while
teetering on the confines of
my perilous mind and altruistic heart—
prodigiously culminating.
Taking back what the enemy stole.

Your poem feels intense and emotionally charged, with a strong sense of inner struggle and a desire for liberation. You create a dark, almost suffocating atmosphere. I like the shift toward determination at the end, especially the idea of reclaiming what was lost. it has a compelling voice and a clear emotional drive.

Thank you so much, my dear friend! You’ve truly captured the essence of my internal roar! Trying to turn my struggles into a blinding light, breaking the chains of despair. Absolutely a dark and suffocating atmosphere, where I once stood. Fires ablaze, fighting the blackness that once enveloped me. Thank you so much on your always inspiring feedback. It’s truly humbling to receive from you! Deep gratitude for your understanding and deep thoughts!
