Acquiescently Augmented

Acquiescently Augmented …I swam an ocean of many a mile, only to land on a lonely languid Isle… ~~~ …there I slept on the sinking shore, with dimensional dreams to explore… My thoughts escape the infinite now thru immortal images and semiotic sounds Now I lie on the breaking bough for yesterday is gone and the illusion surrounds The mind is trapped in tangled time where shadows simulate the falling grounds Do I now accept the new paradigm amidst altered states of bimolecular bounds? For what I once saw is no longer here a revolving reality of the reciprocating door Thus the memories dissolving disappear buying anew at the semiempirical store Now I awake with a quicksand quiver shaking hands with the delusional décor I have shed and sailed the reconstructed river as I did an infinite times before. ~~~ Can we ever wake up? ~~~ …the Mandela! Effect! Is here! April.30.2018 Jamie's interesting Contest 3 Sponsored by: Jamie Pan 4. Virtual reality

Back to re-read you magnificent Poem WW, as promised after I listened to the Mandela Effect. Indeed I have experienced some strange phenomenon only recently and at other times too which made me question my sanity. Now in the family if there is something weird our standing joke is 'blame the Mandela effect' - Lol...Maria Hugs :)

Very cool poetry, WW. Teases the mind and makes one think. I believe I have experienced the mandela effect because I swear I grew up with The Berenstein Bears (not The Berenstain Bears)

Mesmerizing poetry, WW. Dreams can be so interesting. Many great lines and my favorite is: "...yesterday is gone and the illusion surrounds." (I had a similar experience waking up when I'd taken new medication the previous night.) You've crafted quite a poem! Hugs, Carolyn

I listened to the Mandela effect..intriguing! Our memories do wonders over time as you clearly ponder in your poem in lines such as: ...For what I once saw is no longer here ..Do I now accept the new paradigm amidst altered states?..best for a win, WW!
