Aching and Breaking

Cracking under pressure
Loved you beyond measure
I’m aching and breaking again…hung oppressive in distress
Overtaking my grief and happiness — I’m a dirty, disgusting mess
Can’t wait to be near your shimmering side
Soar no more in sorrowful skies and abide…
No longer will you have the dire need to hide
No wrongs have you done to me, kind pride
If I could,
I would
Have saved you truly from yourself
And if I could,
I would
Have enslaved positivity in myself
