Accustomed To Blue

grown aesthetically 

accustomed to blue

twisted mess varied merciless blues

barely lifting my aquamarine head

baying at heaven unmitigated sorrow

asking the most high not to retire me

beseeched condemning my emotions

to this navy sky turquoise dominated hue

must have given omnipotent mercy to

these cries of periwinkle showers

In comes long awaited variegated you

with loves plethora of colors 

welcoming into multi-flavored arms

lulling with luke applebutter kisses

quoting heated burnt sienna affections

strolling heroic validated raven shoes

could not refuse your euphonic rainbow

to revel in a bevy of explosive shades

pigments of what I thought escaped

present in my life compliments of you

former native sprung from passionless cools
