Accustomed To Blue
grown aesthetically
accustomed to blue
twisted mess varied merciless blues
barely lifting my aquamarine head
baying at heaven unmitigated sorrow
asking the most high not to retire me
beseeched condemning my emotions
to this navy sky turquoise dominated hue
must have given omnipotent mercy to
these cries of periwinkle showers
In comes long awaited variegated you
with loves plethora of colors
welcoming into multi-flavored arms
lulling with luke applebutter kisses
quoting heated burnt sienna affections
strolling heroic validated raven shoes
could not refuse your euphonic rainbow
to revel in a bevy of explosive shades
pigments of what I thought escaped
present in my life compliments of you
former native sprung from passionless cools
