Accomplishments
Happily retired as a senior,
I sang with the choirs.
Played the piano for the birthdays and teas,
To an appreciative audience.
Wrote two books, "Living with God",
The "Sounds of Christmas".
I had my poems featured in the Heritage Glen Letter,
They photographed me with my trophy as an award winning poet.
I had my very own Art Exhibit as an artist,
Friends and relatives came, this was a catered affair also.
Appeared in the 2017 calendar,
What an honor that was.
My poem "Friendships" and my "St. Patrick's Day" poem appeared,
I continue to write poems, my favorite hobby.
Painting and drawing is a continuous hobby,
I like to give them to my relatives and friends.
Good ways to keep busy as a senior,
I thank God for blessing me this way.
