Accolades

Do I like to receive 'em?
You better believe it!
A day without accolades
I couldn't conceive it

I mope around moaning
My head hanging down
I feel like Eeyore
Wearing a frown

But sure as shootin'
Someone sends me cheer
And I'm once again grinning
From ear to ear

For the rest of the day
I'm floating on air
Nothing can depress me 
No worries no cares

If you'd like to contribute
To my mental wellbeing
Send me some happy
My face will be beaming
