Acceptance of Our Time
A thick, murky fog surrounds me... I am trying
to find a way through each day without you.
The time of us
passed much too soon.
Your absence everywhere replaces your presence.
Rare moments come when pain is less intense,
and the joy of our love starts seeping through,
warming my heart... a time I feel you with no pain.
Can I live for moments with you
while I learn to live without you?
The time of us
is in my heart
