Acceptance
The path we walked was never simple--carried every color of emotion, from wander to ache and hope to fear.
I truly believed you wanted to show me the beauty in your world, to open a windows I've never seen before.
Pushing me away your final time here-yes, that hurt more than I thought possible.
For long time now I help on asking myself Why? What Happened? How did I allow this again, falling totally.
These answers are not mine to concern or chase anymore.
I've already seen Utah's people, it's possibilities, and the part needing explanation has gone quiet.
Acceptance is its own new path- one made of hope and faith, joy and peace, a trail meant for me to move forward instead of back.
You taught me lessons, I learned I can stand on my own, that being here alone- or not-is enough.
This is my journey now, the last chapter shaped by everything I've lived , lost and learned.
And I walk it with Acceptance
