ACCEPT YOUR STUPID

Accept Your Stupid

Getting to know your

Stupidity means admitting

what you think you know

is not working for you.

When you realize this:

Then, and only then

will you be able to;

Embrace positive change.

As you search for the truth

more will be made plain.

But when you think you know?

all that you think you know

"think again"!

Go to the other side of

what you know

and find out what really is.!

 Grab these revelations

with both hands, do not

hold on to any parts

of the stupid notions

that have kept you for so long

"stuck on stupid"

Or in a stubborn stupor.

You may somehow miss stupidity.

Like you would a reoccurring tooth-ache,

at first predicting, yet not wanting,

it's a painful throbbing to return.

Once you've been

assured that the unwanted

"stupid" is gone;

Continue your path of

gratitude and growing.

Delight in your newfound

wisdom and understanding.

Seek divine knowledge until

you've reached the crypt;

Know your strongholds.

Acknowledge your gifts;

Ask to be lifted to the pinnacle of wisdom;

And of right spirit, and discernment.

Side-step negative forces, and

never again be the orchestrator of them.

Refrain from hoarding the seeds of truth,

Instead, plant truth seeds, unsparingly,

in the fertile gardens of the willing.

Indeed, Vicki - sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

Encouraging, Vicki. As Socrates said, "An unexamined life is not worth living." Admitting that one may be lacking in wisdom, is not easy, but it is the only way to grow. Your poem is full of advice on how to do that. Blessings.
