Accept the Gifts
Accept the gifts
The gifts from above,
For they are given by Heavenly Father,
His gifts of love.
His gifts they come often,
Some we never really see,
For he has his hands in everything,
And knows what is meant to be.
He stands right beside us,
Through the sorrow and the pain,
Knowing that through it,
A stronger testimony we will gain.
Sometimes when things are the worst,
And his reasoning we question,
Its then that he is carrying us,
Through tough life situations.
He promised he would never,
Give us more than we can bear,
And yet when things are the worst,
We sometimes wonder if he’s there.
But through it all,
He remains steadfast and true,
Ever faithful and loving,
To me and to you.
He gives us the holy spirit,
His gift from above,
To guide us and comfort us,
A true gift of love.
So don’t question the gifts,
Don’t question the love,
Realize its something special
From Heavenly Father above.
