Abuse Shouldn'T Happen
Abuse can come in many forms
And every single one is wrong
Scars, burns, black and blue
Proof of what he did to you
Swollen cheeks---Puffy eyes
Bloody tears that you now cry
Physical should never be
This kind of bad cruelty
Loving touches should replace
The sadness shown upon her face
Words of meanness always said
Filling up your fragile head
Lazy, stupid, no good, dumb
Makes your heart start to go numb
Ugly, idiot, and fat
Hits you likes a baseball bat
Words should never hurt like this
They should be sweet like a kiss
Cheats, lies and a broken promise
Turns a solid love to tarnish
Neglecting her--lots of ignoring
Builds up and just keeps on storing
Pain that will not go away
When it happens every day
She'd rather cuddle and hug tight
Making love all through the night
Emotional. physical or mental
Stop this and it surely will
Make the world safer to live
If people would just stop and give
More thought on what abuses do
To these helpless victims who
Want to feel safe and good
In every single neighborhood
