Your take on abuse is elegant. I hope she stays on that beach drinking margaritas. Sadly the 'I'm sorry" tends to woo them back into it... Your poetry is divine.

Even if you didn't come up with it completely, you still have put together a tremendous write! I really enjoyed reading this delightful poem this evening! Oh, my contest results have been posted if you care to see where you placed in it, you did very well. I only placed 24 out of 50 poems and yours placed high! I thought you did excellent with it!
