Abuse
She sits in the corner , tears overflowing,
Dreading another night , footsteps approaching,
She seeks God's Love , but is met with silence,
Her birth she scorns , hate has taken over guidance.
She lies on her bed , bruised and bleeding,
Gazing out into the night sky seeking an asylum,
She often dreams of a haven free from pain,
Reality has imprisoned her ,freedom binded with chains.
Ignorance blinds her loved ones from the truth,
Her pleas heard but forgotten , labeled as untruth,
Daylight goes to slumber and night is approaching,
He torments her , drawing blood with his brown leather belt,
She no longer feels any pain nor love ,
Instead she prays for the day where her emotions can once again be felt.
